Damon Wild – Cosmic Path on Infrastructure – Techno Review
Cosmic Path is the first full-length techno album by Damon Wild since Downtown Worlds back in 2004. It’s also his first solo release on Infrastructure.
There are 15 beautifully crafted Deep Techno tracks on the CD version, and 11 on double-vinyl. Expect pulsating 909 rhythms, analogue sequences & bleepy atmospheric synth lines throughout.
The more we listened to this album in the office the more the attention to detail in the entire frequency spectrum seeped through with each listen. Its a real testament to Wild’s talent as a producer and sound designer. If you’re expecting to hear overused presets and formulaic arrangements this is not the album for you.
Damon also has a remix for our editor Christian Boshell’s Phraktal alias – Transfer due out on Bakroom in February.
Here are two short samples of our favourites on the album.
