Coding Sequence – Tech Noir (Repressure)

Coding Sequence – Tech Noir (Repressure)
My first listen to this really tight production by Coding Sequence aka Chris Roelofsen and straight off I was impressed with the level of production, think Driving Main Room Techno, somewhat reminiscent of some of Alan Fitzpatrick productions.
A thundering kick drum kicks off proceedings, lots of clever use of effects & really tight persistent percussion melded with a hoover like bass driving the track, which very much reminded me of some of the music which was played in the main room in Space in Ibiza before its close in 2016. The very last time I visited Space for Carl Cox’s Revolution party we caught Kolsch who was playing a very similar sound.
Coding Sequence – Tech Noir originally featured on Repressure’s ADE compilation which included an impressive line up of established artists and emerging talent with the likes of Orlando Voorn (KMS/Defected), Jamez (Trancesetters), Code Bushido, Surgeles (Axis), Phraktal & Kluute (Bakroom), Seek One, POLS (Frequenza), Hoffman & Kriket (Effektive), Raffaele Attanasio (Non Series), Judah Darenville (Effektive), PROJECT89 (Armada Subjekt/Effektive), Teqnov, Rovara, Leon Benesty and Van Daal!
