In the last 5 years, Code Bushido has appeared on Repressure out of Amsterdam and Dublin based electronic music label Bakroom & has been remixed by G-Prod and our editor leader & commander in chief Static Interference. The dubs Christian Boshell and Aidan Kelly have a masterful command of their studio setup and are inspired sound designers working on music for documentaries and films.

Their last outing on Bakroom ‘Shogun’ was supported by Carl Craig, John Digweed & Maceo Plex.

‘Ponderer’ mixes up raw and distorted sounds inspired by Jeff Mills and Sven Vath’s Cocoon imprint. It draws influences from movie soundtracks scored by Orbital such as Event Horizon. The result is a tight slice of experimental techno, with rolling elongated pads, stuttered vocal effects and distorted synthesizer stabs.
